Welcome.

Here is where you'll find monthly (or so) updates on the lapses of concentration that colour my life.

This blog will mostly feature retrospective vignette stories of the little things I've seen and done here and there. I'll do my best to make them entertaining but, you know...

In July 2010 I had dinner with a girl in a tiny shack restaurant in Kathmandu. We drank banana lassi which would later make us quite unwell, we ate steaming momos and got to know each other. I mentioned that my favourite thing about travelling, and the reason why I do it, is the little meetings it forces you into. Interesting things just occur out of nothing much.

To this, Ally, the girl I was with, said, 'It's like, if you throw some different shit together you call it salad.'

I'll try and make some salad.
